Used their products and expertise for a couple different projects and I've been really impressed with the results and the service.
Soundproofing makes a real significant difference to a place's livability for a relatively cheap investment, I wish more landlords and builders would look into their options.

Hush City is very friendly and helpful, even with tricky situations and limitations in my room they managed to get everything done, I definitely recommend Hush City and will contact them in the future for sure!

I soundproofed a 9x11 foot glass wall. The installers did an excellent job and the product works as described. I was pleasantly surprised that the new windows look like they have always been there and were part of the initial construction. They only take up an inch or so and fit well within the window sill. Low and medium frequencies are muted and higher frequencies are harder to hear. There is also the additional benefit of improved insulation. The windows make an enormous difference for a downtown suite. Be prepared to do a little bit of drywall repair here and there.

Dealing with Darcy at Hush City has been amazing. Our son is a very light sleeper and we are doing a room renovation to improve the sound proofing on exterior walls. I did a ton of research but at the end of the day still had questions about which products and wall systems work the best and how I could spend money most efficiently. Darcy was able to answer all my questions, explain how products stack up against each other, he had a ton of knowledge with HVAC, windows, and wall systems, and was able to source all the material I needed. He also saved me from making a big error by explaining the triple leaf effect and saved me money by explaining some sound theory and actions I would have taken that would not have returned the results I was hoping for. I would highly recommend reaching out to Darcy at Hush City for any sound proofing renovations. Thanks Darcy!

I ordered a custom sized In-Line Silencer while we've been renovating our basement as I wanted to reduce sound transmission through the vent both out of the office, as well as into the office from the shared heating trunk that the 4 rooms connect to.
I can say now that I've had the ceiling insulated with fiberglass, and the walls insulated with rockwool, with Sonopan installed on all walls and ceiling followed by Resilient channel on the ceiling, and then 5/8" drywall, I'm able to leave a shop vac running in the office downstairs, and am barely able to hear it in the bedroom directly above. (A significant portion of the sound is still just travelling through the open doorway downstairs, as we do not have any doors installed down there yet.) I'm incredibly excited for our renovations to complete so I can enjoy my new quiet office in the house.
I wanted to send a huge thanks to the Hush City team for being able to do a custom-sized order to fit with the constraints I had, as well as being incredibly prompt at manufacturing and flexible with allowing me to pick it up after work. I would highly recommend them.

It was great to work with everyone at Hush City. From Darcy who helped me work out the best solution to soundproof between upper and lower suites in my rental house to all the folks I had contact with throughout the process. The job has just been completed so I don’t yet know how well it will work, but my initial sense is that it will be a vast improvement.

Peter was professional and gave us reasonable advice how to approach to soundproof our walls. Kalen was thorough and efficient and was able to complete the project in time. We are very happy with the work by Hush City.
I had Hush City do some drywall and mass loaded vinyl sound proofing in my ceiling. The person I dealt with was amazing, place was left spotless and he took the time to update me whenever I needed. Today emailed them to get some additional info on additional sound panels. The person who called me on the phone too the time to explain options and knew his stuff very well (didn't sugar coat things that might not have worked for me as well), I never felt rushed or pressured. I would HIGHLY recommend you check them out.
We hired Hush City to soundproof our vocal performance studio, and from the very beginning, Peter and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. Peter provided us with great advice during the consultation and offered cost-effective solutions to what we needed. He and his team are prompt, highly communicative, and very efficient - we were able to have the sound panels installed with no interruption to our studio services and they did an excellent job at making them appear unobtrusive on the walls and ceilings. The entire project was conducted with great care and professionalism, and we would definitely call on Hush City again for future soundproofing needs.
